[DRAMATIC STRINGS]

ARLINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS — AND THE WORLD WATCHES!

As spring settles over these great United States, a story emerges from the quiet streets of this proud New England community — a story of COURAGE! Of FELLOWSHIP! Of one woman and a GRILL!

The BOSTON MAGIC LAB — that most distinguished fraternity of prestidigitators, illusionists, and all-around REMARKABLE AMERICANS — has concluded what sources close to this reporter describe as, and we quote, ONE HECK OF A SEASON!

And now — as free men and women across this great nation turn their eyes toward ARLINGTON — the LAB has issued a CALL TO ARMS!

A BARBECUE!

[SWELL OF BRASS]

Sunday! May the SEVENTEENTH! Twenty — twenty-SIX! One o’clock in the afternoon! Seventy Scituate Street! The REAR GARDEN!

And who shall PRESIDE over this historic assemblage? Who shall stand between civilization and an UNLIT GRILL?

JEANNINE!

[CYMBAL CRASH]

This intrepid MASTER OF THE CULINARY FLAME — known from Boston Harbor to the furthest reaches of greater Middlesex County — shall once again take her position at the grill, where she has never — repeat, NEVER — failed to deliver!

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the indomitable FELICE — organizer EXTRAORDINAIRE — works tirelessly to ensure that the coordination of provisions, expected IMMINENTLY, shall proceed without incident!

Guests are asked — nay, SUMMONED — to bring food or drink to share! For this is AMERICA, friends! And in America, you do NOT show up to Jeannine’s barbecue empty-handed!

What does the future hold for the Boston Magic Lab?

ANOTHER SEASON OF WONDER, that’s what!

But first —

The barbecue!
